More about Wade 

Wade is owner and Senior Physiotherapist at Central Physio & Health. Wade graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2003 and has been practicing for the last 20 years in private practice. 

Wade’s goal for Central Physio & Health is create a clinic where our Physios are leaders in their industry for Physiotherapy + Exercise Rehabilitation + Return to Work outcomes, therefore better equipped to help more clients with movement and pain concerns for the long term.

Wade has particular interests in lower back/shoulder/hip/knee injuries and rehabilitation, sports injuries and sports performance, dynamic strength and conditioning, workplace ergonomics and return to work services. Wade’s post grad education includes Selective Functional Movement Assessor (SFMA) certification, Level 1 ASCA Strength & Conditioning Coach & accreditation as a Level 3 KLT Functional Strength Coach. Wade uses these additional skills on top of his Physiotherapy training to build his clients customised exercise programs to improve movement, reduce pain and improve performance.

Wade is Co-Director of Corporate Work Heath Australia who specialise in workplace ergonomic risk assessment and training, manual handling risk assessment and training, pre-employment assessments; and return to work services. Wade has completed his Cert IV & Diploma in Work Health & Safety, and Cert IV Training & Assessment qualifications and consults across the country with national clients designing and implementing injury reduction and productivity boosting strategies for the workplace. These services consist of ergonomic training and assessment, pre-employment assessments, manual handling risk assessments and training, return to work plans and work-health checks. 

Wade is a full member of the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA) , as well as a member of the Safety Institute of Australia (SIA) and Functional Movement Systems (FMS).

Wade has previsouly worked as WorkCover QLD approved return to work consultant assisting injured workers to make a successful return to work.
