10 years solving pain and the injury on the Gold Coast. This August marks 10 years since I opened Central Physio & Health here in surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. It has been an amazing journey over the 10 years and we have had the opportunity to help thousands of clients get out of pain, recover from their injuries, and return to sport, work and family life. Our journey Our journey initially started as hiring a very small room in 2011 in what was previously Anytime Fitness. This was a great opportunity to kickstart the physiotherapy clinic in Surfers Paradise and meet some people that we still refer clients to to this day. Once we outgrew this small room we then moved into Regus serviced offices in the 50 Cavill Avenue building where we rented two rooms and upgraded to having part-time reception included who managed our clients on their arrival. In 2015 I took the plunge of taking a 5 year lease on 150 m² facility in the Chevron Renaissance shopping centre. We also required our own administration team full time. Despite the very large risk in making this move it was a fantastic for our business to have our own dedicated facility with for treatment rooms and dedicated rehabilitation gym. Our team had grown to 7 by this stage. In 2020 in the midst of Covid we made another move back to where we originally started at circle on Cavill taking another 5 year lease. What a complete circle this has been. Pardon the pun. Our clinic is now literally located next door to the little room that I hired in the gym 10 years ago.  We love our new Physiotheray clinic in Circle on Cavill Surfers Paradise. We customised the design of it to have the perfect amount of space for our needs. We have a relaxing reception area + three completely private treatment rooms + our rehabilitation gym. We also have an open air balcony for our team to have lunches and hang out. Our services After trying lots of different services over the past 10 years we have settled in on what we do best. We provide physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation, rehabilitation consulting for WorkCover Queensland and DVA, and occupational health and safety consulting to corporate clients (ergonomics and manual handling). Our team have regular mentoring, training and discussions over how we can provide the best services and best outcomes to both our individual clients and our corporate clients. We don’t settle for average and are always striving for exceptional.
